Feijoada Cookie Recipe

Specialfood suggests a wonderful feijoada cake to enjoy leftovers from such a Brazilian preparation. It is the perfect preparation to accompany a few beers at the bar, but it can also be prepared at home for a delicious snack! Ingredients for making Feijoada Cake:

 2 cups of ready-made feijoada

 ½ cup of chopped cabbage

 14 units of beak pepper

 2 tablespoons of flake cassava flour

How to make Feijoada Cake:

To make the delicious feijoada cake, start by crushing the ready-made feijoada in a blender until it turns into a paste. Transfer to a pan and heat, stirring constantly, until you get a very consistent dough. Refrigerate to cool.

When it's cool, put some of the dough in the palm of your hand. Add some cabbage and a little pepper in the center. Close and pass the cake in the manioc flour. Place the feijoada dumplings on a baking sheet and bake in a medium oven for 10 minutes.

Remove the baked feijoada dumpling from the oven and serve it still hot, accompanied by a wonderful homemade pepper sauce!
